FX.php のメーリングリストにて新しい機能のリクエストが議論されていますが、前に紹介させていただいた新居雅行さんによる日本語対応のための拡張が、4.0に正式に組み込まれることになりました。
Last year right around DevCon some additions to FX.php were created by Masayuki Nii to allow improved Japanese support when connecting to FM7SA, and support for Japanese when working with FM6. That said, after getting his permission, these additions will be added to FX.php.
For most people these changes will be completely transparent, but they will make things much nicer when working with the Japanese language.
